Outlaw Poet Digital Films Announces Feature-Length Adaptation of "The Price of Staying"

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - Outlaw Poet Digital Films (OPDF) is thrilled to announce the official start of development for the feature-length psychological horror film "Unseen Unheard" (working title).

The project is a cinematic adaptation of the novel The Price of Staying by author Ellie Burdg. Following a series of successful creative consultations and the formal execution of an exclusive option agreement, the project now moves into active development with a 24-month production roadmap.

A New Vision of Bureaucratic Horror

*Unseen Unheard* explores the chilling intersection of human commoditization and corporate "processing" in a near-future setting. The adaptation aims to preserve the "thematic core" of Burdg's manuscript - specifically the clinical, sensory horror of labor-as-asset - while expanding the world for a global feature audience.

The Creative Team

OPDF is proud to announce the primary production team leading this venture:

- Marshall "Northstar" Pampkin II - Director / Producer

- Hayden Fay - Director of Photography

- Chet D'Silva - Producer

- Mikaela L. Pampkin - Executive Producer

- Ellie Burdg - Co-Producer / Author

Development Roadmap

The project is currently in the screenplay phase. OPDF is building out the screenwriting team through the remainder of Summer 2026, with a focus on reconciling the film's "Option 2" creative direction with the fully completed 21-chapter manuscript.

Supporting materials for the project - including a detailed Crowdfundr campaign and visual lookbooks - are currently being finalized to support the project's listing as "In-Development" on major industry databases.
