The Price of Staying Welcomes Hayden Fay as Production Designer

Updated: Aug 12

We are proud to announce that Hayden Fay has formally accepted the role of Production Designer for The Price of Staying.

Hayden has been with this project since the first treatment draft, and his fingerprints are already everywhere in the lookbook and the visual language we are building. Stepping into the PD chair is a natural evolution of the work he has already been doing. He is also staying on as Writer, Editor, Producing Partner, and PA on flexible days. That is a lot of hats, and we want to be clear: we are only able to ask this because Hayden told us exactly what he can commit to and what he cannot. That is the kind of honesty that makes a set safe.

Here is what Hayden has committed to:

  • 10-15 hours per week during pre-production

  • A minimum of 4 on-set shoot days

  • Direct communication if overwhelm hits, so we can adjust instead of break

We are building this film on the belief that people come before product. Hayden has formally accepted this role, and that acceptance is proof that the model can work.

[TPS APPLICATION] - [Your Name] - [Role]

Include a reel, resume, or a brief statement of interest. Student and early-career applicants are strongly encouraged. If you have questions about the role, the time commitment, or the budget, ask them. We would rather answer a question before we hire than discover a mismatch after.

If you know someone who belongs on this list, send them our way. The quiet phase is ending. The loud phase is coming.

Thank you for being here before the noise started.
